As impressive as his credentials are, it is his humanitarian endeavors that truly sets him apart. Dr. Dang is the vice president of Hope For Tomorrow (www.hftusa.org), a non-profit organization that provides free dental care for the poor in the US and abroad. Through Hope, each year he traveled to a third world country such as Cambodia and Vietnam to provide dental care, human services and assistance to extremely disadvantaged and often stigmatized patients such as orphans with HIV and people with cancer or leprosy.
His compassion and tireless effort has earned him the highest honor of all – the President’s Volunteer Service Award given by President Obama in 2016. Dr. Quyen Dang lives in Virginia with his wife and two young boys. He works at Optimal Dental Center with offices in Fairfax and Reston. He plays the guitar, keyboard, mandolin and loves to ride his specially enhanced Ducati motorcycle.
