Center For Brain & Spine

Dr. Amin Amini, a board-certified neurosurgeon and Washingtonian Top Doc since 2009, specializes in stereotactic image-guided surgery for brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, and hydrocephalus. Dr. Amini has expertise in complex spine surgery and offers state-of-the-art care for spine disease with emphasis on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving quality of life. He has spearheaded neuroscience programs, improving patient experiences and outcomes in the DC Maryland region.

The Center for Brain & Spine welcomes Dr. Mary Cobb, a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with skills to treat cerebrovascular diseases such as stroke, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations through both surgical and endovascular techniques. She serves as the Medical Director of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at the Adventist Hospitals. Dr. Amini, Dr. Cobb, and Amanda Panfil, PA-C, focus on treating the patient, not the disease, and partner with primary care providers to create comprehensive, customized care plans for the full spectrum of brain and spine conditions.

Conveniently located offices in Rockville, Silver Spring and Cheverly allow patients to receive gold standard treatment and superior care close to home.
