Angela Lotsikas-Baggili, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with a strong interest in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has extensive experience in laser therapies, superficial fractional skin resurfacing, Ultherapy, Botox, and dermal fillers such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvéderm and Voluma.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Lotsikas graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in biology from George Washington University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She spent two years doing clinical research at the world-renowned National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, as a pre-doctoral fellow. She graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Dermatology residency at Georgetown University Hospital where she had extensive laser therapy training.
Dr. Lotsikas has authored over 15 research publications and has co-authored a chapter on Chemexfoliation and Superficial Skin Resurfacing. She has been featured in a variety of television programs including local Washington, DC, newscasts WRC-TV (NBC 4), WJLA-TV (ABC), “Healthline” and “Retirement Living’s The Voice”.
Dr. Lotsikas is an active member of The American Academy of Dermatology, The Women’s Dermatologic Society, and The Washington Dermatologic Society.
