Dr. Ebony Hoskins
Dr. Ebony Hoskins is a board certified gynecologic oncologist providing comprehensive and compassionate medical and surgical care for women in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. Determined to achieve her early dreams of being a gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Hoskins commenced and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. Joseph-Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She chose to enhance herself and skills after residency, by completing a Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Dr. Hoskins had an astounding experience studying the molecular mechanisms behind the malignant potential of ovarian cancer cells. After her 2-year dedication at the NCI, Dr. Hoskins was prepared to pursue a clinical fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Hoskins has practiced gynecologic oncology for 7 years. Dr. Hoskins has refined her surgical skills in gynecologic malignancies and complex gynecologic surgical problems. She has also completed over 450 robotic assisted surgeries. Dr. Hoskins has taken in a special interest in the subfield of obesity and cancer due to its direct relationship in the development of endometrial cancer and cancer disparities as it relates to African-American women with endometrial cancer. In her spare time, she loves traveling, working out, photography and spending time with her husband and daughter.
