Ophthalmology
In Dr. Malouf’s family, practicing quality, personalized medicine is a core value. His father began practicing Ophthalmology in Prince George’s County in 1958 and was followed into practice by his two sons, George and Alan. Recently, Dr. Malouf’s son, Marc, followed in his father’s footsteps, joining his practice and continuing in the legacy set forth by his grandfather.
Dr. George Malouf Jr. has extensive experience in glaucoma management and diabetic eye disease management. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Malouf is also an accomplished cataract and glaucoma surgeon, using the latest techniques like laser-assisted cataract surgery and the placement of the latest multifocal and toric premium intraocular lenses.
Well known and well-respected in his field, Dr. Malouf currently serves as clinical instructor for the Resident Program at Prince George’s Hospital. He has also served as Chairman of the Division of Ophthalmology for Prince George’s Hospital as well as serving as President of the Prince George’s County Medical Society. In recent years, Dr. Malouf has been honored with recognition by his peers, as a Washingtonian Top Doctor.
