A Washingtonian Top Doctor since 2007, Dr. Dombrowski is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and a Board Certified Addiction Medicine Specialist. After graduating from the Georgetown School of Medicine, Dr. Dombrowski trained in Anesthesiology at Yale and worked in hospital-based anesthesiology and pain medicine for over a decade. In 2004, Dr. Dombrowski founded The Washington Pain Center, specializing in care for acute and chronic pain, such as neck and back pain unresponsive to narcotic therapy or surgery.
The Washington Pain Center also specializes in treating patients for addiction issues; alcoholism, over eating and opioid dependency. Dr. Dombrowski offers detoxification therapy, medication-assisted treatment and innovative implantation therapy for long-term sobriety. In addition to medication management, Dr. Dombrowski offers state-of-the-art interventional procedures for diagnosing and treating pain.
Dr. Dombrowski responds personally to all patient calls and was awarded the “OnTime Physicians Award” in 2009 (Patients’ Choice). Dr. Dombrowski is the Medical Director of the Anesthesiologist Assistant Program and Clinical Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University. He is past president of the DC Society of Anesthesiologists and past board member and Secretary for the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Dombrowski appeared as a frequent guest speaker on NBC’s Today show, CNN, Fox Business News, RT, Good Morning America, and The Dr. Drew Show.
