Dr. M.R. Khalifeh, MD
Dr. M.R. Khalifeh, MD is considered one of the Washington DC area’s top plastic surgeons. With a wide list of clients, his excellent care begins with his artistic approach to achieving aesthetically-pleasing and youthful results for Washington DC area professionals, athletes, politicians, and socialites alike. Dr. Khalifeh’s techniques have been written about in prestigious national publications such as the Washington Post as well as TV news, including ABC and Fox.
Dr. Khalifeh trained and taught at the top-rated Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Plastic Surgery Program, consistently ranked as the number one hospital by U.S. News and World Report for many years. He started the program as a surgical intern in 2000 and became chief resident in 2006 in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program. He then became Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the Cosmetic Surgery Education Program at Johns Hopkins University (2007-2009) in the department of plastic surgery at the Johns Hopkins University.
He is a noted speaker and an author of several research papers and book chapters in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is the recipient of numerous scientific honors and distinctions, including the Top Spear Award and Alpha Omega Alpha distinctions at Vanderbilt University, top in service award at Johns Hopkins University.
Finally, Dr. Marwan R. Khalifeh is a proud and active member of the United States Navy Reserves, having been commissioned as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves. He currently still serves one weekend each month and 2 weeks a year at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
