A Washingtonian Top Doctor, Dr. Marco Mercader is Professor of Medicine for the Division of Cardiology at George Washington University. He is board certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology. He graduated with honors from Syracuse University and attended SUNY Upstate Medical School where he received the American Federation for Clinical Research Award. His research focuses on developing new treatment strategies for the most common cardiac rhythm disorder: atrial fibrillation.
