Gobind S. Sethi is a dedicated client advocate. He works tirelessly to obtain just and favorable results for his clients. Gobind has represented injured persons and families who have lost loved ones in wrongful death cases throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Gobind has tried scores of civil jury trials over his 16 year legal career and has successfully represented persons in cases involving motor vehicle collisions, defective premises, product defects, legal malpractice and medical malpractice. He has been featured on the cover of the Virginia Lawyers’ Weekly for his work on the development of punitive damages in the case of Canchola v. Coalson.
Gobind is actively involved in promoting access to justice. He sits on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Trial Lawyers’ Association. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Poverty Law Center.
Gobind is a graduate of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, and a cum laude graduate of The American University, Washington College of Law. He began his legal career as a civil defense attorney on behalf of the City of New York where he quickly developed his courtroom skills to become a highly effective advocate for his clients.
