The Howard Gardner School is an intentionally small, independent, experiential school serving grades 6-12 on two campuses. Our mission is to help bright, creative, non- traditional learners use their unique strengths to thrive academically, intellectually, and emotionally.
We treat every place and space as an educational environment. Learning need not be bound by the four walls of a school building. In addition to time spent on campus pursuing core curricular courses and elective classes, students participate in our weekly field studies, internships, and service learning programs.
Our philosophy and mission dictate a small school community; we limit our enrollment for all of our programs and campuses. Maintaining a small, intentionally diverse community allows us to serve each student as an individual. We know and understand each of our students. We are proud of this and it is the cornerstone of our success.
