“The Real Lolita” by Sarah Weinman

Sally Horner was abducted as a preteen and died in a car crash a few years later—a short, tragic life that true-crime writer Sarah Weinman argues inspired Vladimir Nabokov’s novel Lolita. Weinman will make her case when she’s interviewed here by Baltimore detective novelist Laura Lippman, whose most recent book, Sunburn, is a noir delight.
