Join us in celebrating the visionary leadership of Bonnie Fogel, Imagination Stage Founder.
Featuring an interview with Judy Woodruff, Anchor and Managing Editor of PBS NewsHour, celebrate Imagination Stage’s Founder and Executive Director. On January 1, 2021, Bonnie will transition to the part-time role Founder, and we are eager to honor her life’s journey and incredible career.
Imagination Stage’s Celebration of Bonnie will commemorate her legacy while toasting the bright future of an organization that has become irreplaceable for children and young people living in every corner of the region – even in the midst of a global health crisis. The evening will also highlight our Theatre for Change initiative, which includes programs that use theatre productions and educational workshops to bridge cultural divides and lift up underrepresented, young voices. Theatre for Change programming exemplifies Bonnie’s vision for theatre as a tool for change, inclusion, and education.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Imagination Stage’s theatre and arts education programs that are especially important in the wake of disrupted schedules, social distancing, and unexpected change. These challenges have created hardships for all families, but have especially affected young people who were under-served before the pandemic. We need your help to continue our 41-year tradition of empowering all young people to discover their voice and identity through performing arts education and professional theatre.
