Hong Kong–born photographer Enoch Chan and Maryland choreographer Kimmie Dobbs Chan are the creative couple behind the local dance company Deviated Theatre. Their latest fantastical collaboration, Beyond—about a young girl who has astronaut aspirations—incorporates aerial dance (à la Cirque du Soleil) and outer-space vibes through custom projections.
