March on Washington Film Festival
July 12, 2018 - July 21, 2018
$15 to $25
Now in its sixth year, this event spotlights under-told stories of the civil-rights movement. This year’s films include a documentary about entrepreneur and activist Madam C.J. Walker, who was born just after the Civil War and made a fortune selling hair products to black women, and a look at the life of radical Chicano lawyer Oscar Zeta Acosta, immortalized as Dr. Gonzo in Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
