Opera Lafayette presents Handel’s Radamisto

For the first time, Opera Lafayette brings its original perspective to a repertoire favorite of Handel, a drama about the taming of a powerful and ambitious king. Opera Lafayette performs the work in its first version, complete with dances at the ends of the acts and with members of the Séan Curran dance company integrated as actors into the complete production. Composed by George Frideric Handel. Libretto by Nicola Francesco Haym, based on L’amor tirannico by Domenico Lalli and L’amour tyrannique by Georges de Scudery. Ryan Brown, conductor.
