This workshop will be an introduction to playwriting where the various components of a play such as plot structures, dialogue as the tool for dramatic action, play lengths, and character will be discussed. Participants will then respond to writing prompts and create dialogue between characters. Racism, events of the past and present day, and plays that address racism will serve as points of inspiration for writing. Instructor: Gethsemane Herron-Coward.
