The museum marks its 30th anniversary with a contemporary mixed-media exhibit of photography, sculpture, and video by 16 artists, with a focus on “intense” subject matter. Playing with concepts such as wayward children and the unconscious, large-scale installations use the impressive space to create tension within their vexing imagery.
