Snow Child

Eowyn Ivey’s 2012 novel, The Snow Child, might seem like odd source material for a musical. Homesteaders struggling in 1920s Alaska? Not exactly Cats. But this world premiere warms up its icy premise with Alaskan roots music, and intriguingly, it’s a collaboration with Juneau’s Perseverance Theatre, founded by Arena Stage artistic director Molly Smith before she got her current job.
