Washingtonian kicked-off the Best of Washington season with a happy hour at Hawthorne on April 28. With a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, attendees enjoyed drink specials including Old Forester cocktails, craft beer, and house wine. Guests also snacked on delicious BLT sliders, duck fat french fries, buffalo wings, fried brussels sprouts, and baked lobster mac and cheese. Party-goers were able to purchase discounted tickets for the big event: the AT&T Best of Washington party on Thursday, June 9 at the National Building Museum.
