You Are Going to Spend SO MANY Hours Playing With This New Monogram Generator

We were already pretty giddy about the hashtag generator put out by WeddingWire, the Chevy Chase-based wedding tech company, but we might be even more in love with their latest gadget: a monogram generator.

What’s the point of getting a monogram? For one thing, its a fun way to get excited about you and your future spouse’s shared names; for another, it’ll look amazing on your invitations or printed on cocktail napkins and signage all around the reception.

Rather than paying a graphic designer or roping a creative friend into helping you design a slick monogram, WeddingWire’s new tool, which they announced on Facebook yesterday, is simple to use. Start by plugging in the first initial of you and your partner’s names in the first two boxes and your last name initial in the third box (or, if you’re not going to be sharing a last name, put in your first, middle, and last name to generate a monogram you can use for yourself).

Once the letters have been entered, the generator will produce pages of different monogram styles that you can customize to be one of 36 different colors. Head to WeddingWire to test it out for yourself, then download the high-resolution PNG file to use in all your wedding decor.
