As a respected residential real estate agent for 25 years, Doug has remained focused on the premise that client objectives are his highest priority. His commitment to provide specific, helpful advice is more valuable to clients than ever in today’s competitive real estate market.

Understanding consumers are using the web to start the process gives him relevant insight when talking with people about their plans. His clients, mostly professionals, come primarily through personal referrals, but also after researching the Vienna real estate market and discovering his extensive blog on local new home construction, negotiation tips, trends, and advice.

“I know Professionals appreciate focus and real help, not just another sales pitch.”

Today’s relocation market includes local clients moving to larger homes where they can also work, and those downsizing or retiring now that the kids are gone. Each case requires smart planning and a strategy to make the process run smoothly. This hands-on experience helps him clearly explain and negotiate, a common theme in his online client reviews.

Doug and his wife live in the Town of Vienna which has grown into an active and walkable community with a thriving restaurant scene. He donates a portion of each commission to the Town’s annual tree replacement fund for the purchase of larger caliper trees for planting in public areas.

Originally from Rhode Island, Doug graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in History.

Licensed in Virginia.

Working at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty also gives Doug a deep bench of experienced colleagues from the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, MD, historic Washington, D.C., out to the farms and vineyards in The Plains, VA. Plus, access to agents across the U.S. and Internationally. Contact him for specifics.
