Dr Johnson has extensive experience in Endodontic (Root Canal) Therapy and Surgery. Having been trained at Columbia University in Microscopic Endodonitic Surgery. Dentists in Northern Virginia have entrusted their patients to his comfortable care for over 20 years.
Additionally he has experienced five years of general dentistry practice in both the private sector and in a university setting. These years of general practice have given him a unique insight into the problems and concerns of your Family or restorative dentist.
Dr Johnson enjoys the reward of taking patients from that of discomfort to a problem solved. He looks at each patient and the treatment required as new and unique. He believes in the most conservative approach.
He has what Dr Hasselgren, his Mentor, calls clinical imagination. "He is capable of extracting and extrapolating the knowledge from the literature and applying this together with common sense into a treatment plan. He is the President of the Northern Virginia Academia Clinical Dentists, and Past President of the Alexandria Dental Society. He is an award winning Endodontist, voted by his peers five consecutive times as a top Dentist in The Washingtonian.
