Dr. Albino is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Albino has an immense surgical skill, advanced training and a passion for helping patients make the changes they desire to improve or restore their appearance. His friendly, warm demeanor is exceeded only by his ability to achieve beautiful, natural outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Albino has demonstrated his passion for discovering ways to better patient outcomes through medical research. He has co-authored nearly 30 individual peer-reviewed studies, contributed to multiple book chapters, and has presented research at national and international medical society meetings. As a Research Fellow, Dr. Albino was instrumental in piloting research for titanium particle-induced joint destruction during his time, and he earned multiple awards for academic excellence and outstanding teaching during his medical school and residency training.

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Albino lives in Washington, D.C. with his husband and 2-year-old son. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and has a passion for great food! An excellent cook, Dr. Albino enjoys experimenting with new flavors and ingredients and has taken over the tradition of preparing a big Sunday dinner for his entire family.


Dr. Albino graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He was then accepted into the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program at Georgetown University Hospital, a highly competitive six-year program that accepts only the top-performing medical graduates nationwide.

After completing his residency as the Administrative Chief Resident, Dr. Albino went on to complete a year-long Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he trained in advanced microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction and other reconstructive procedures.
