How did a small-town boy from La Crosse, Wisconsin, become a successful real estate agent in the DC Metro? Lorin’s passion for real estate was a natural development from a two decade career in landscape architecture and urban planning spent in California and Minnesota. With a background in design, Lorin puts his knowledge to work for his clients, helping sellers to market their homes, and guiding buyers with design and construction in mind. His working knowledge of LEED requirements, green roof design, and environmental concerns enables Lorin to guide his clients toward more sustainable living. Years of classical violin training honed Lorin’s attention to detail, which enhances his contract and negotiation expertise.
Having gone through the experience of selling his own home in a down market, Lorin learned valuable lessons about staging and effectively marketing properties. A core value for Lorin is integrity, and his business philosophy is to help educate his clients on making informed and timely decisions. He says, “I want all of my clients to benefit from my experience,” and to his clients’ delight, Lorin has successfully marketed and sold every home he has listed.
When not working for his clients, Lorin enjoys exercising and outdoor activities. He successfully trained for and completed the Marine Corps Marathon in 2018.
