Hilton Washington Embassy Row

This Embassy Row hotel has the typical, professional feel of a Hilton, but is smaller. The lobby is accented with dark wood and gold, and the bar/seating area walls are painted with Dupont Circle scenes. Its location draws a lot of business travelers, and conference groups often take over the entire property. On the mezzanine level, five function rooms can accommodate up to 150 people.

Insider tip: The hotel offers two room types: “standard” and “city view.” For $20 to $30 more, city view rooms have windows looking out toward the Washington Monument. If you are looking for the quietest rooms, ask for one facing residential Q Street.
