After being a partner at two national law firms for 12 years, Fred founded Frederick J. Tansill & Associates in 1997 in McLean. Fred graduated from Brown University (1970) and from Georgetown (Law 1974, Masters in Tax 1982). He is a Fellow of ACTEC and has chaired the D.C. and Virginia Bars’ Wills, Trusts and Estates Sections. He has practiced law in taxation, trusts and estates and closely-held business matters in the Washington, D.C. area for more than 35 years.
