Amy Spain is a dedicated advocate who focuses her practice on all aspects of family law litigation to include divorce, equitable distribution of assets, spousal and child support determinations and modifications, and child custody and visitation matters. Her practice also includes appellate advocacy.
Amy’s practice is devoted to helping her clients navigate family law matters, and she works closely with clients to understand the client’s goals and to ensure that the client is well informed and engaged in every phase of the case.
Amy has been recognized by her peers for her outstanding work and commitment to the practice of family law and has received the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch recognition since 2021 and Super Lawyers: Rising Stars for 2022-2023. She was also included in the Washingtonian Magazine’s 2019 and 2022 Top Divorce and Family Lawyer list.
Amy obtained her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and her J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law. She is barred in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
