Jessica Saunders (formerly Jessica Borno) is a senior associate at Hostetter Strent and has been practicing family law since 2011. Ms. Saunders is experienced in representing clients in custody, complex asset division disputes, child support, spousal support and alimony proceedings. Ms. Saunders understands the emotional and financial complexities of separation and divorce and seeks to find reasoned and practical solutions for her clients and their families.

Ms. Saunders was named a Rising Star by Washington, DC’s Super Lawyers Magazine in 2020-2022 and Maryland’s Super Lawyers Magazine from 2020-2023. In addition, she has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine’s 2021 and 2022 Top Divorce Lawyers List. Ms. Saunders was also recognized in the 30th Edition of Best Lawyers in America.

Prior to joining Hostetter Strent in 2017, Ms. Saunders practiced family law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She has been a member of the Montgomery County Inn of Court and volunteers with the District of Columbia Superior Court’s Family Law Self-Help Center.
