Great Bars 2013: Black Jack

The hordes come for bocce—complete with spectator seating—in
the back of this second-level bar above Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, but
excellent craft cocktails are another draw. The staff’s creativity
especially shines through when they use singular ingredients such as
smoked-cherry ice, which cools the Scotch-based Sassafras. Insider tip:
Stop by after 9 on Wednesday, when the crowd thins out. Open Tuesday
through Sunday.
