The four-acre site stretches between the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials and features a 28-foot high statue of the civil rights icon. Free.

FASHION: Join April Yvonne, fashion stylist and founder of MYDCStyle.com, for her final summer fashion series, “Fall Fashion Preview,” at J&G Steakhouse. HANDI HOUR: You’ve heard of happy hour, but what about Handi Hour? Stop by the Renwick Gallery for an evening of drinks and crafts. Channel your inner-Martha Stewart, sip on craft beers from Churckey, and enjoy live music by Zia Hassan and His Fancy Band. Plus, there will be a scavenger hunt through the gallery’s permanent collection. Tickets ($15) include two drink vouchers and can be purchased at the door. Additional drinks can be purchased for $5. 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
