Inauguration Aggregation

With just days until the big day, there’s lots of inauguration buzz to go around. Here’s what we’re reading this morning.

Barack Obama, Lego-fied.

President Bush declared Obama's inauguration a state of emergency yesterday. The move frees up more federal money to help Washington deal with the record-breaking crowds expected on January 20.

MSNBC and Screenvision have brokered a deal to air the news channel's broadcast of Obama's inauguration in 27 movie theaters around the country.

The Senate passed legislation late last night to make scalping inaugural tickets a federal crime. This comes after a former congressional aide, who works at a lobbying firm, was caught doing just that. The bill now goes on to the House for approval.
