A relaxed vibe, a compelling drinks list, and indulgent servers make this warmly lit dining room a place for lingering. Happily, chef Jon Sybert’s four-course prix fixe—preceded by a few rounds of snacks—unfolds at a luxuriant and leisurely pace. You might graze on crispy smoked cod; salt-roasted sunchoke with black-garlic toum and lime; and coffee-rubbed beef topped with an artful heap of shaved fennel. Wines are listed by color, season, and concept—we loved the sly “Beer of Wines,” a dry Lambrusco Salamino. Cocktails, such as the aptly named rye-based Rattlesnake King, are clever, too.
