For longer than I care to remember (I can’t be that old!), the Vans Warped Tour has been taking punk, alternative, metal, and hip-hop acts on tour around the country. This summer the tour stops at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday, July 25, and tickets are on sale this Saturday, April 14 at 10am. $29.75
Godsmack has the recipe for alternative metal down, and the band brings its act to DAR Constitution Hall May 26. Tickets are available Friday, April 13, at 10 am and cost a hefty $38.50.
The always theatrical, brooding, and literate musical legend Morrissey comes to Wolf Trap July 2. Tickets to his gig, as well as to performances other artists—among them Lyle Lovett, Lucinda Williams, the B-52s, and more—go on sale Saturday, April 14, at noon.
