Great Bars 2011: Restuarant Eve

Getting into the bistro or tasting room at this Old Town destination isn’t easy. And come prime time, the sofas in the walk-in-friendly bar/lounge get pretty crowded, too. The softly lit room can take on the feel of a cocktail party—there are many regulars—with the affable, smart bartenders serving as hosts. Sommelier/cocktail guru Todd Thrasher is behind the cocktail menu, and in keeping with the restaurant’s ethos, many of his ingredients are made from scratch. The gin and house-made tonic is especially good.
