Country singer Chris Young is bringing his Neon album tour to the Fillmore. The Grammy Award nominee’s latest record is a “meticulously produced, precisely written, ballad-heavy set that showcases Young’s deep tenor amid rich arrangements and heartstring-pulling lyricism,” according to Billboard. SPEAKEASY: Dust off your flapper dress and relive the Roaring Twenties during Red Palace’s Moonshine Cabaret. The show will feature live music, slapstick comedy, burlesque, and vaudeville. Tickets ($10) can be purchased through Red Palace’s Web site. Doors open at 9 PM; the show begins at 9:30. 21 and up.

COMEDY: Standup comedian Dan Cummins is performing at DC Improv tonight. The Comedy Central star has appeared on The Late Show, The Late, Late Show, and Last Comic Standing. Tickets ($15) can be purchased through DC Improv’s Web site. 8 PM.

THEATER: Don’t miss opening night of The Golden Dragon at Studio Theatre. Set in a pan-Asian restaurant, the story explores the daily struggle of being an illegal immigrant. Tickets ($35 to $69) can be purchased through the theater’s Web site. 8 PM. The play runs through December 11.
