Companies, winner of a 2008 Green Award. Guests enjoyed the hotel’s
delicious food and sipped on wine provided by Ruffino. Washingtonian publisher Cathy Merrill Williams presented awards to
Suzan Jenkins of Nonprofit Energy Alliance; Chris Paladino, CEO
of Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company; Bernadine Prince and Ann
Yonkers, founders of FreshFarm Markets; James C. Rees IV,
president and CEO of George Washington’s Mount Vernon; and Brooke
Runnette, executive producer of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.
