Great Bars 2013: Granville Moore’s

Choosing can be tricky at this rustic Belgian bar in a narrow H
Street rowhouse. You’ll want to try each of the rich bowls of mussels
cooked up by chef/owner Teddy Folkman and flavored with such offerings as
duck sausage, blue cheese, or chorizo. Then there are the many craft
Belgian drafts to explore, including the sought-after Trappist beers
listed in column after column on the chalkboards scattered across the
first and second floors. Insider tip: With flavors including garlic ranch
and chipotle mayo, even picking a sauce for the crisp, addictive fries can
be challenging—so just pony up for a few extras (they’re 25 cents each).
