Dr. Paul Silberman combines over three decades of experience with state of the art digital technology. His team is thorough, engaging, and professional. His patients trust that they will be treated with respect, integrity and genuine concern. Our patients are never rushed through appointments or prescribed excessive treatment plans that they do not need. Dr. Silberman gives patients more than one treatment option whenever possible, fostering trust and creating positive dental experiences.

Dr. Silberman and his team take pride in alleviating dental anxiety for patients who might not usually be comfortable in dental environments. He and his team understand fears, and Dr. Silberman is a relaxed, kind, and gentle person who will work with you to feel comfortable.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Maryland suburbs, Dr. Silberman graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with honors. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Maryland School of Dentistry and worked as an instructor there before devoting his full time to private practice. Dr. Silberman continues to be an active member of The American Dental Association, The Maryland State Dental Association, The Southern Maryland Dental Society and the Patuxent Dental Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Silberman is an avid cyclist and tennis player, and is active in his faith and regional communities. Distance runners in the area may recognize him for playing music at local marathons – sometimes with his daughter in tow – bringing cheer and enthusiasm to the participants. He and his wife, Barbara, enjoy working together in the practice. They have two children, Lauren and Joel about whom they love to share stories!
