Dr. Helen Barold is a board certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. She is well published in her areas of expertise which include cardiology and heart rhythm issues. Dr. Barold graduated with honors from Brown University and the University of Rochester Medical School. She completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and her cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at Duke University. She also has a Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Her areas of expertise include atrial fibrillation, heart rhythm problems, heart failure, cardiac issues with pregnancy, preventative care and women’s heart disease. She implants pacemakers and defibrillators and does cardiac ablations.
