Couples who choose Woodend for their wedding have the convenience of ceremony and reception in one location, with plenty of complimentary on-site parking.

They have exclusive use of the Woodend Mansion, surrounding lawns, Hemlock Grove, and an elegant and climate-controlled customized tent set-up on a paved terrace, all included in one fee. The tented terrace is adjacent to the manor and it’s available from April through November. It is also an excellent back-up plan for outdoor ceremonies. The tent is equipped with 4 chandeliers, drapes, side panels that can be closed if needed, tent heaters and fans, as well as air conditioning from June through September.

Two large dressing suites are available to the couple and their wedding parties.

Part of the rental fee is a tax-deductible donation and there is no sales tax, as Woodend is the headquarters of the Audubon Naturalist Society, a nonprofit organization that provides environmental education for children and adults and connect residents of the DC region with nature.
