This week, we staked out Brabo by Robert Wiedmaier and Brabo Tasting Room (1600 King St., Alexandria; 703-894-3440), a more casual gathering place next door. Wiedmaier, the chef/restaurateur behind Brasserie Beck and Marcel's and in downtown DC, is serving foie-gras ravioli at the more formal Brabo and flatbreads and mussels at the Tasting Room.
