Bonchon, the Korean chicken chain with a cult-like following, is expanding in the Washington area. The individually owned franchises are popping up all over the region, including the first District location set for Navy Yard next year.

Closer on the horizon is Bonchon Hyattsville, which just announced it will debut on October 1. The branch will be the third in Maryland—others include Rockville and Ellicott City—and is located in University Town Center next to the Regal Cinemas Royale 14. (There’s your perfect fall date night right there.) Signature spicy and soy-garlic fried chicken will be on the menu, alongside other Korean specialties. We’ll keep you updated with more details prior to opening.
