Happy Christmas Eve, Washington! Here are the inauguration headlines that caught our eye this morning. By Emily Leaman

Attention foodies! Chef Alice Waters, owner of Chez Panisse, will cook a dinner for 80 people at the Phillips Gallery on January 19 to celebrate the inauguration. The event, Art. Food. Give., will benefit charity, and feature artists and authors, like Michael Chabon, Anna Deavere Smith and Maya Lin as honored guests. The $500 tickets go on sale in January. 

Obama doesn't want corporate money to fund his inauguration, but he can't stop businesses from underwriting private parties and balls

Obama's inauguration team has organized special concierge services to help the president-elect's friends and family navigate Washington.  

Harley-Davidson of Frederick is providing 12 motorcycles to the Metropolitan Police Department for the inauguration. They'll lead the inaugural parade in the famous "V" formation.
