Fashion alert! Barack Obama has purchased his first tux in 15 years. The LA Times reports that he is expected to take the oath of office wearing a suit and topcoat from Hart Schaffner Marx.

The LA Times also reports that Oprah Winfrey is not planning on taking a job in Obama's administration—but they flesh out theories, anyway, of positions she could fill. 

The Washington Post has the skinny on how some 4,500 hotel rooms in the Washington area have been freed up for the inauguration.
