The bad news: Thursday evening in Navy Yard, arts editor Sophie Gilbert snapped this shot of one of the Brood II cicadas rumored to be taking over our city any day now.

The good news? Today editor at large Carol Joynt consulted with a “bug hunter” to find out how worried we should actually be about the rumored cicada invasion. His answer: Probably not at all.
