"The Washingtonian" Takes Home Two CRMAs

We are so very proud to announce that
The Washingtonian took home two awards at the annual City and Regional Magazine Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend: in profile writing,
for
Tom Bartlett‘s profile of
Gene Weingarten in the December 2011 issue; and in excellence in writing, for the March 2011 issue. The magazine was also a finalist in several
other categories: special issue (November 2011), ancillary publication (Washingtonian Bride & Groom), and leisure service (last August’s “Great Day Trips 2011”). And Best Bites Blog’s own
Jessica Voelker was a finalist for food writing for her work last year at
Seattle Met.
