Apparently, there’s nothing Hill staffers love more than free sushi. The California Rice Commission hosted a sushi-rolling competition in the Agriculture Committee Hearing Room on Friday, and giant platters of maki rolls were devoured in seconds. Members of Congress and the Obama Administration were invited to compete in the sushi-rolling showdown, but after adjourning late the evening before, they all bailed. Instead, Chandler Goule, staff director for the Subcommittee for Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry, claimed victory — and a samurai sword. Watch the video below.
