5 Fitness-Friendly Brunches to Try this Summer

From boot camp and brunch to yoga and all-day pool access, these fitness-focused brunches offer awesome rewards for working out.

Everyone knows that a weekend race should always followed by a hearty brunch. But not everyone is a runner. Fortunately, various restaurants and hotels have partnered up with popular fitness studios in the area to offer yoga and boot-camp brunches for those of us who would rather start the morning in downward dog position than by hitting the pavement.

Weekend Refresher at Liaison Hotel
Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 AM
Liaison Hotel’s Weekend Refresher package includes rooftop yoga and brunch, plus all-day access to its pool. Led by Faith Hunter of Embrace Yoga, participants are led through an hourlong vinyasa class, followed by breakfast at Art and Soul. $50. Boot Camp With Nike Georgetown at Ritz-Carlton Georgetown
Sunday at 11 AM
Personal trainers Chris Perrin and Ingrid Nelson lead a free, hourlong fitness class in the hotel’s urban garden every Sunday until October. Afterward, enjoy brunch with bottomless drinks for $39. 

Pilates on the Patio at Poste Modern Brasserie 
Saturday at 10 AM
This Saturday marks the last Pilates on the Patio of the season with instructor Chauna Bryant. The 45-minute class is all levels, and everyone receives a glass of sparkling wine afterward. $24. PoP will also host a charity class at Kiehl’s in Georgetown on June 30 at 10:30 AM for $29.

Yoga and Brunch at the Graham Hotel
