Washington Marriott

The Washington Marriott is defined by its large amount of convention and meeting space—although, guests would never know it from the small foyer. After walking through the lobby, guests reach the two-story center of the hotel and a maze of trendy seating areas; an escalator leads to the second floor, where 80 percent of the hotel’s space is taken up by banquet rooms.

While the lobby and its lounge areas have fun layouts, shapes, and prints, the second floor is a all professional. The hotel specializes in extravagant table settings, banquet cuisine, and the variety of event-room types—classroom, conference, meeting, or reception.

Guest rooms aren’t too spacious, but are contemporary, sleek, and functional.
