Why go: If there’s another restaurant as beautiful, delicious, and cheap as this Vietnamese veteran, we haven’t found it.

What to get: An extraordinarily delicate shrimp toast; grilled, beef-stuffed grape leaves; honey-roasted quail with blood-orange slices; salad of lotus root, pork, and shrimp; a stellar rendition of bun, a composed salad of pork, shrimp, rice noodles, and veggies; mushroom-filled rice-noodle crepes; Vietnamese coffee.

Best for: A date or a casual special occasion.

Insider tip: Large groups can take advantage of the restaurant’s dinner for ten—a salad, two appetizers, six entrées, and fresh fruit for $168.

Open daily for lunch and dinner.
